The ideal time to book your newborn session is while you’re still expecting — typically during your second or early third trimester. Since newborn sessions are best done when your baby is 7–14 days old, pre-booking ensures we reserve space around your due date and can adjust as needed once baby arrives.

At Svetlana Boyko Photography, I only take a limited number of newborns each month to ensure flexibility and personalized attention. Booking early secures your spot and guarantees that I’ll be available to capture those early moments.

2. We’ll select a tentative date based on your due date.

3. A $150 deposit is required to secure your session.

4. Once your baby arrives, you’ll reach out to confirm the exact date (ideally within the first 10 days).

All newborn sessions are held in my cozy, fully equipped studio in West Windsor, NJ. The studio is designed for comfort — warm, quiet, and baby-safe. Every prop, wrap, headband, and accessory is carefully selected and sanitized to provide a luxury experience for you and your baby.

1. Arrival & Settling In

Upon arrival, you’ll have time to feed and soothe your baby if needed. The studio is kept warm and quiet to help babies stay sleepy and relaxed throughout the session.

2. Session Length

Newborn sessions typically last 2 to 3 hours. This allows time for feeding, changing, cuddling, and gently posing your baby without rushing.

3. What’s Included

• Use of all props, wraps, outfits, and accessories

• Baby-only posed images (or family/sibling add-ons depending on your package)

• Access to a client wardrobe for mom if desired

• A comfortable seating area for parents to relax during the session

• Snacks, water, and changing supplies provided in-studio

4. Safety First

With over 10 years of experience and ongoing training in newborn safety and posing, your baby is always in good hands. An assistant is present to help ensure your little one is supported and calm at all times.

🖼️ After the Session – Image Selection & Delivery

Within a few days of your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can select your favorite images for final editing. All images are professionally retouched — including skin smoothing, background clean-up, and artistic adjustments.

You’ll receive your final high-resolution digital images via secure download. You’ll also have access to a professional print store directly from your gallery if you’d like to order prints, canvases, or albums.
