Deep or muted colors always beat bright and bold which will cast a horrible reflection on your skin even on the people near it. For example: instead of a bright pink, consider a muted rose instead.  With mini sessions and family photo dates on the calendar, I figured it was a great time to share  family outfit ideas. When grabbing your gear for fall and winter keep in mind that layering is a great way to build your style. For example, throw on a vest over your dress… and tie it in with the colors of your child’s sweater or dog’s bow tie. Don’t love vests? Grab a scarf, shawl or chunky sweater. There aren’t any rules, if you feel good we say go for it. And most importantly, be comfortable. If you are comfy in the outfit you are wearing, your joy will shine through in the images.
